Carlos Vera has more than six years of experience in dispute resolution, Litigation and Public and Private Arbitration, on issues related to Public and Private Contracting, Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation, Constitutional, Civil and Fiscal Responsibility, in sectors such as infrastructure, energy and telecommunications.
Academic studies
Lawyer from the law school of the Free University of Colombia. Carlos Vera participated in the Center for Human Rights Studies of the Free University and in multiple Diplomas such as 'Peace in the Territory: An Opportunity for Social Inclusion' of the Free University in the company of the Complutense University of Madrid and the Organization of States Ibero-Americans, 'Acción CaPaz' from the Higher School of Public Administration – ESAP, “The Transformation of the Justice System in Colombia” from the Universidad Libre, in the company of Tirant to Blanch and Dejusticia. In recent years he has participated in the diploma course “National and International Arbitration” of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and the E-learning course on the use of SECOP II from the perspective of the state entity, of the National Public Procurement Agency – Colombia Efficient Purchase. Currently Carlos Vera is a member of the Youth Arbitration Network and the Economics and Conflict hotbed of the Free University.
