Professional experience

She has more than 20 years of professional experience in Litigation and Arbitration, serving as attorney for companies, consortia, temporary unions and project companies in claims filed before the contentious-administrative and arbitration jurisdiction. She has also worked as an advisor and consultant on various issues of commercial, corporate and user and consumer protection law. Professor and Researcher at the Department of Commercial Law of the Universidad Externado de Colombia in undergraduate and graduate degrees and author of various publications in the areas of protection of free competition, unfair competition, data protection and consumer protection. Lecturer on Competition Law and Arbitration topics. Member of the Colombian Association of Competition Law. Ingrid Soraya Ortíz has been linked to the firm since 2000.

Academic studies

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Externado de Colombia University in Bogotá, Colombia (2000). Specialist in Commercial Law from the same University (2000) and Master in Contractual and Extracontractual, Civil and State Liability (2007). In 2006, he obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Commercial Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid and, after some study stays in Italy (Universitá degli Studi di Trento – 2009), he obtained his Doctorate (Phd) in Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid (2010). During her stay in Spain, she completed the Spanish Law Expert course for Foreign Jurists at the University of Alcalá de Henares and had her law degree validated to that of a Law graduate in Spain. In 2012, he completed his Master's Degree in Consumer Law at the University of Castilla La Mancha and subsequently completed the Diploma in Consumer Law and the Advanced Course in Competition Law at the Externado University. Likewise, he has taken various courses on Competition Law, Big Data and Digital Platforms as well as on Personal Data Protection. In 2020, I am taking the Diploma for Secretaries of Arbitration Courts at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and in 2022, the Diploma in Evidence Law.
